Welcome. I’m Heather, a devoted yoga student of ten years and a passionate yoga teacher since 2013.

My classes are opportunities for you to slow down, a moment to find peace and a space to unapologetically relax.

You can find me teaching in the Halifax/Dartmouth area and also along the Eastern Shore.

Practice the art of deep listening.

Each week will be a different focus integrating the physical, energetic and mental benefits of Yin. Yin is a simple style of yoga, that provides us with the stillness to practice the art of deep listening- while affecting the physical body in ways that may surprise you.

If you have already attended a class of mine, there will be some new insights that I haven’t touched upon before, including the meridian lines, the parasympathetic nervous system and the function of Chi.

The cost for the series is $60 or $15 drop-in. If you have already purchased one of my 10 class passes, you can join in as usual.

I’ve been on a yoga/self-care/travelling the world journey for nearly ten years and teaching yoga since I graduated from teacher training in 2013. I passionately teach Yin yoga - a style of yoga where you hold the pose for a longer period of time. My classes serve the purpose of deepening a connection to ourselves, namely by slowing down, discovering the breath and unapolgetically relaxing.

All to often I hear people express their need to relax and deeply, consciously relax. Society demands so much of us that stress and burnout has become normalized. It is NOT normal. More than ever people are in desperate need of a mindful practice for support and guidance. That’s why I offer classes, workshops and private sessions dedicated to helping you reconnect to the body, reset the mind and relax fully.
